As I grew, I realized that I was not interested in telling your story like everyone else told theirs. Your story is not like theirs and it shouldn’t look like it either. If you're anything like us, your kids are not going to sit posed perfectly. You embrace their personalities, you cherish the moments that are not going to last forever. That is what I am here to capture.

A snapshot into my life
My family is my life. Having 5 kids, that isn't too surprising. However, watching my kids grow inspires me every day to be the best version of myself that I can be. Working hard while ensuring that I have enough time to make them all feel not only loved, but seen and wanted. My kids and husband are all such great humans and I'm truly blessed to get to be their mother and wife.

I met my husband at Dutch Bros and so its no surprise coffee is always near! My go to coffee at Dutch bros is a golden eagle with white coffee, iced of course. You can often find me editing, listening to a true crime or motivational podcast. I love learning about new things!
Coffee & Podcasts
Traveling with my family is one of my favorite things to do. Every summer we spend exploring and one of our favorite spots to go is Zion national park in Utah. We will spend our days hiking slot canyons, beautiful trains, and enjoying the rivers. If we aren't at Zion, you can often find us at Disneyland, Lake Powell, or the beaches of Mexico!

Working with Shanyn for my maternity photos was an incredibly personal and beautiful experience. Her talent goes beyond capturing stunning images – she has this amazing ability to make you feel genuinely beautiful and comfortable in your own skin. Shanyn's flexibility and accommodating nature made the entire process feel tailored to my needs, resulting in photos that truly reflect this special time in my life. Maternity session
I cannot recommend Shanyn enough! Need a feel good shoot? Boudoir? Family? Maternity? Cake smash? She’s done it all for my family and every time I come out shocked at the result. Our last family session was about 20 minutes because my kids wouldn’t stop crying, it was chaos, no one was participating and I even cried because I was so frustrated. But then Shanyn delivered a full album of photos that I couldn’t even believe how she was able to make us look that put together. She is our forever photographer!
Family Session
Shanyn has been documenting our family’s milestones (Maternity, Newborn, family, minis) for the last two years and we are so grateful we found her! She is very easy to work with and the final images are always stunning and timeless. She helps you pose and provides guidance to make you look good which is so important. She is the best with little ones - our toddler loves her and always warms up to her quickly. Our sessions are always fun and she captures such a wide variety of photos, even during minis. For newborn sessions all you have to do is bring the baby to the studio and she takes it from there which is wonderful when you just had a baby and are exhausted. Shanyn also has a client closet full of unique dresses that photograph really well and you can try them on in the studio before your session. We can’t wait for our next session!
